The Washington County District Attorney’s Office is currently hiring for the position of Deputy District Attorney. We are accepting applications for the entry-level position of Deputy District Attorney I as well as from experienced applicants for the positions of Deputy DA II, III or IV.
DDA I or II position(s) will be in the misdemeanor criminal prosecution unit, and DDA III or IV positions are at the felony level. We welcome applications from persons sitting for the upcoming July 2024 Bar exam. The salary range for these positions is between $103,000 and $190,000 depending on experience. We offer a dynamic and team-oriented work environment.

Applicants for DDA positions must be a member of the Oregon State Bar or have a Bar membership application pending.

- Completed DDA Application/background check form
- Transcripts from both undergrad and law school (unofficial is acceptable)
- 3 letters of reference (at least 2 from attorneys or judges)
- Writing sample (6 pages or less please)
