• HILLSBORO, Ore.- On December 3, 2021, Douglas Edward Mulloy, age 78, pleaded guilty to first-degree online sexual corruption of a child, first-degree encouraging child sexual abuse, and luring a minor. Washington County Circuit Court Judge Brandon Thompson sentenced the defendant to 10 years in prison. Senior Deputy District Attorney Allison Brown prosecuted the case against Mr. Mulloy.

    • HILLSBORO, Ore.- On November 19, 2021, a Washington County jury found Daniel Jay Peckron, age 55, guilty of three counts of first-degree sexual abuse. On January 21, 2022, the defendant was sentenced to 125 months in prison. Deputy District Attorney Rayney Meisel prosecuted the case before Judge Ramón Pagán. 

      In January of 2021, the 10-year-old victim reported the defendant had been molesting her for a number of years. Tigard police and the Oregon Department of Human Services then launched an investigation.

    • HILLSBORO, Ore.- On November 9, 2021, Arturo Diaz-Guzman, age 41, pleaded guilty to first-degree rape, first-degree attempted sexual abuse and three counts of first-degree sexual abuse. He was then sentenced to 15 years in prison by Washington County Circuit Court Judge Erik Buchér. Deputy District Attorney Chris Lewman prosecuted the case against the defendant.

    • HILLSBORO, Ore.- On November 5, 2021, Washington County Circuit Court Judge Erik Buchér found Erik Shane Zweygartt guilty of five counts of using a child in display of sexually explicit conduct and five counts of second-degree encouraging child sexual abuse in a bench trial. He was sentenced to 300 months in prison. Deputy District Attorney Jason Weiner prosecuted the case against the defendant.

    • HILLSBORO, Ore.- On November 9, 2021, a Washington County jury found Tracy Lampron Cloud guilty of Murder in the Second Degree with a Firearm. On November 16, 2021, Judge Eric Butterfield sentenced the defendant to life in prison with a minimum of 25 years served.     • HILLSBORO, Ore.- On October 8, 2021, a Washington County jury convicted Patricia Marie Deangelis of criminally negligent homicide. Deputy District Attorney Matt Wise prosecuted the defendant before Judge Ramón Pagán. 

      On November 25, 2019, the defendant was operating a commercial dump truck when she ran a red light and collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Southeast Baseline Street and South First Avenue in Hillsboro, Oregon. A passenger in the second vehicle later died as a result of her injuries.
